iOS SDK for Atmos: Enabling Mobile Cloud Applications

Mobile usage on the Atmos platform is growing fast.  Many of our conversations with customers and prospects involve enabling secure, mobile access to content.

To address this need we released an Apple iOS Software Development Kit (SDK) that enables developers to rapidly build mobile apps that take advantage of Atmos, our distributed web services enabled object storage platform.

The SDK does much of the hard work involved in communicating with Atmos.  Developers need not be concerned with the low-level HTTP communication with the Atmos API.  The SDK handles all the low-level portions allowing developers to focus on their core application rather than the tedium of signing and sending HTTP requests and parsing the responses.

We have open sourced the SDK code using a BSD license.  We encourage developers to download the code and experiment with the bits.  We're happy to assist --- feedback is certainly also welcomed.
